I’m Cyrus Tabar, a visual storyteller with a rich and diverse background in photography, film, and video.
I live at the intersection of technical imaging and creative storytelling. Currently an Image Quality Engineer at Apple working on iPhone and iPad camera features like Photographic Styles and HDR, bringing together my love for both the technical and artistic sides of visual creation.
I've worked on Oscar-nominated documentaries (End Game), supported major commercial productions, and served as a film professor at California College of the Arts. Along the way, I've led creative teams developing high-performance video campaigns at Curology, directed award-winning films that have screened at festivals such as Slamdance and SFFILM FESTIVAL, and now help shape how millions of people capture their memories through technology.
